The Glory is Coming

The belief and extent of most people's idea of the Christian life is get saved, be sweet little darlings, and go to heaven. Well, there's more to it than that, amen? If the only reason to get you saved was to get you in heaven, we'd just go ahead and send you home right after you got saved. Right? You know, Lord, we're baptizing another one, take them home.
We are left here for a purpose. And this generation is going to be the most dynamic generation the world and the church has ever seen, amen? We're beginning to see things in our every day natural that we used to think were super stupendous miracles that only happened in Africa to some super evangelist.
But they're happening right here. There are so called average Christians having miracles right here in our own back yard - the states. I'll let you in on a little secret. The average Christian should be having miracles. If you are not, you are below average. If you are not getting the sick healed, you're below average. We need to just get up to average. Average is stupendous. Come On! 
If we were to reach average Christianity, we'd set this country on its ears. We'd be known from the high and low, people would be coming from miles around with people in ambulances saying please pray for aunt Susie or brother so and so.
Isaiah chapter 60 verse one says, "Arise, shine; for thy light is come," Anybody been shining here recently? You got it folks. Some of you are still thinking it sure is getting dark. Well, take that bushel basket off of your light. Let's continue. "And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." Wait until you find out what the glory is, or what it entails.  "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall rise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee." 
You say well, that sound like today. Folks, there is a purpose for the light rising on you, hallelujah!
I can remember when I was a kid the greatest problems they had in school was chewing gum and running up and down the hallways and shooting spit-wads across the room.  Now, they're concerned about AK47's, knives, murder, rape, and all this other stuff. I was convinced that Saddam Hussein was bad. And once they went in there, they started revealing some of the things that was really going on and I was convinced that he was more than bad. Man, they were evil. They showed some of the cult rituals they were in, people stabbing themselves with swords, walking around with swords sticking out of them and all this other stuff and they sowed this stuff on TV.
And we have a tendency when these things happen, we get distracted, we start worrying, we take our eyes off of God, we back off of faith and get scared. I'm telling you folks, the bible says it's going to happen.
Quit worrying! We cannot be in fear and walk in power. You've got to be in faith and faith cometh by what? Hearing.
Those that are reading this and preparing for what's coming, there's going to be great joy in the camp. It says, darkness, destruction, misery, death, ignorance, sorrow, sickness, wickedness, and it says gross darkness comes upon the people and it means thick, dark, gloom.
But it goes on and says but the Lord shall rise upon thee and his glory, hallelujah, in the midst of darkness, in the midst of wickedness, in the midst of deep, dark, gloom upon the people, it says don't be worried. Glory is coming upon my people. 
​This word glory, means, Honor, Splendor, it means POWER. It means Wealth, and riches, Authority, Magnificence, Favor, and Excellency. As the darkness grows, the glory is going to exceed it. And there's going to be those that see the darkness and the glory and go darkness, glory, ooh I think I'll choose the glory. It's coming a time when darkness is not going to be fun anymore. Right now, you can walk in darkness and there's fun for a season. But God is going to bring this to the point that darkness is going to be so far apart from the glory it's not going to be hard to make the decision.  This is going to be a no brainer, man. God himself says in Deut 30, I've placed before you life and death and then gives you the right answer. You've got a choice. I'm telling you those that are in preparation for what's coming the glory is going to hit in a more magnificent and powerful way than for those who wait and do nothing. 
Those Christians living more for the world are going to experience many of the same symptoms. We've got to attach ourselves to the word, get into the word like never before, study to show ourselves approved, we need to fill ourselves with the word. It's a powerful weapon. It's going to keep you out of darkness, and gloom and keep the glory coming, Whew! Amen!
And the glory we walked in is nothing compared to what's coming. He's going to fill his people with glory like never before. Will you be ready? Will you be part of the glory?
