La Donna's Tribute to Moms

It's no secret that being a mother is difficult most of our days but it's also no secret the awesome joys we get to experience as well. 
​To all the Moms out there - Happy Mothers Day!

It's flowers and spring and mommy things,
it's love and hugs and angels wings.
It's roses are red and I love you
no matter the day whether sunny or blue.
It's birds singing and the laughter of children ringing in her heart,
for it's always been that way right from the start.
It's coffee and slippers, and
happy mother's day wishes.
It's gifts galore and a child's heart forever,
a mother to explore.
It's hugs and wishes, dinner out
and Mom don't do the dishes.
It's the silent message from her child's heart,
the  gleaming in their eyes
that a mothers heart pounds, and then she sighs.
Mom's are there through laughter and tears
to wipe away the frowns and crush all their fears.
For it's the love of her children that steals the show,
warms her heart, and forever glows.
A Mother's hope may be silent all along the way, 
so whether miles apart, on earth or in heaven,
be sure to tell your mom happy mothers day.
