There is so much to understand about salvation and being born again and it's not always easy finding a place to start with this. In short, every one of us was born with a spirit that did not jive well with our creator, our Father God. This has caused us all to do things that God calls sin. We must remember He is a holy God. Making the choice to believe in Jesus means that you will spend an eternity in heaven with God and our loved ones who believed and have gone, graduated as I like to call it, on before us. The opposite of this is also true. If you choose to not make Jesus as your Savior, then an eternity in hell awaits you. Be assured there is no alcohol in hell. There is no Tylenol or Motrin that can stop any pain in hell. Don't even begin to think that you'll find comfort in friends and loved ones who made the mistake of not choosing Jesus because they will only be concerned about their own pain and suffering that will never end. This suffering and pain I speak of is partly, I believe, the knowledge that Jesus is real, that heaven is real, and that God is real. Once you are in hell, there are no second chances. You must understand that your choice to receive Jesus has to be made before your body lays down that one last time and your spirit is transferred into eternity. You will either spend an eternity (forever) in heaven, or an eternity (forever) in heaven.
Each individual should adopt a set of principles, morals if you will, that govern how one lives this life and that determines an eternal existence. We choose the word of God as our principles of faith. We encourage you to do the same. No other god offers both an earthly and eternal existence in peace, will ever forgive you, or love you as much. No other god chooses to live in you and to be there for you through all of your good days and not so good days. We want you to know that our heavenly Father loves you no matter what choice you make. However, just because God loves you doesn’t mean you will automatically spend all of eternity in heaven with your loved ones that have passed on before you that did believe in Jesus. So, the choices you make are so important. And remember, you have to make that choice by faith before you pass away.
God loves you so much that He wants you to have choice and He sincerely wants you to choose to be with Him. He loves you so much that He is recording your decision. Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
Many say there is no God, no heaven or hell. Okay, so if we all are wrong, you have nothing to lose. But if the more than 2.6 billion, approximately 31.7% of the global population (according to a 2025 report) of us are right, you stand to lose absolutely everything! God loves you and is ever so compassionate towards you. He knows you and every intricate detail of your life, the good -the bad- and the ugly stuff, too. there is nothing about your life that scares Him. He still loves you!
Romans 3”23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” In other words, the spirit we were born with is not “on the same page as God is”. Granted, we didn’t exactly ask for this bad or evil spirit, but we were naturally born with it and that’s why we need to ask Jesus to forgive us of the wrong things we’ve done as a result of having that bad spirit and give us a new one. Heaven is a very real place and the God who created it lives in me by His Holy Spirit. And that is how I can tell you this. This Holy Spirit testifies, and bears witness with me and all believers in the love of God, 1 John 5:8. Space won't allow me to cover every scripture related to heaven but here are a few:

Thank you for forgiving me of a nature that just wanted to rebel against you and for giving me your righteousness (the ability to do and live your way). Father, I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit that I would live in your power and authority. I confess now I am no longer a sinner, one with a nature to always do wrong, and to sin against you, but one saved by your grace so I can live righteously. In Jesus' name I pray and ask these things of you Lord God. Amen."
If you just prayed this prayer from the deepest part of your heart, in all sincerity –Welcome to God’s Family! You did it, you have not only secured your place in heaven, but you just positioned yourself to live a glorious life of victory in Jesus right here on earth. Write to us and let us, along with the Angels of God (Luke 15:10), celebrate that powerful punch in the nose you just gave satan. He can’t defeat you now, though you may have many battles –in Christ—you can always have the victory if you never give up. 2nd Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
