I can't say this enough. There are no discrepancies, there are no controversies in the word.
If you've been studying the bible any length of time, you have probably come across some scriptures that seem to disagree with each other. For example: we see in the book of Psalms the word fear is used extensively. Not every use of the word means to be afraid of God. In many of those instances where you see this word, it means to have a reverential respect for God. You can't stretch your imagination far enough to see any relation between those two uses of the word fear.
How do you get past those times and still trust God? What are you supposed to think about those? Can you come to a reasonable conclusion and continue to study the word of God? Listen, in times like this, the first thing you will have to do is to shut down most voices. Even well meaning folks will argue there are discrepancies in the word. I can't say this enough. There are no discrepancies, there are no controversies in the word. It can't be because God cannot lie. Did you get that? God cannot lie!!! Let's explore this. Titus 1:2 says: In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;" This is also in Heb 6:18, "That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:" So, if God cannot lie, what do we do with discrepancies? First, you need to understand the bible was not written in English. The OT was originally written in Hebrew and the NT was written in Greek. Why our translators chose some of the words they did is anybody's guess. I personally think they could have done a much better job. This is where having a Greek and Hebrew Lexicon will help. Strongs has a good concordance with references to Greek and Hebrew words with explanations. It behooves any student of the word of God to obtain a good Lexicon. Another resource is to use E-Sword, it's a free download and they use Strongs. My husband likes using a Brown, Driver, Brigs, concordance. So, anytime you get hung on discrepancies just realize it's not a discrepancy because God can't lie and you just simply need some understanding on whatever you are studying. As always, if you need help with understanding the word of God, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have a tons of resource material, I'll be glad to help. Just shoot me an email and I will get back with you. I hope your new year is off to a great start. Get on fire and stay on fire for God - it's the best decision you will ever make. God loves you and so do we. â âLa Donna Holstine
the blessings of God are for the taking and you take it by faith, believing that it is real and that it is for you. As part of my ever growing blog category, Salvation, I just want to welcome you to the Kingdom of God and introduce you to this wonderful kingdom and hopefully you will get a good picture of this God I choose to serve.
First, if you've never asked Jesus into your heart, please read my article here on what salvation is. In my post, the Lordship of Jesus 2, I talked about how Gods blessings can basically be summed up into four categories. 1. Salvation for you and your family 2. Family well being 3. Healing for our bodies 4. Prosperity in every area of life including our finances. Read the first of those two posts, The Lordship of Jesus here. This God I serve, desires to meet your needs in every one of these areas. And yes, He's far more capable than you and I will ever know in this lifetime. I can tell you this is true because I experience this every day in my life. I encourage you this week to take some time getting to know this God. He's the only God that will ever love you unconditionally and despite your failures, will with His long arm of grace and mercy, reach right down where you are, scoop you up, dust the filth and debris of sin, shame, guilt, and failure off of you and help you to regain your composure so that you can be free. He will still meet your needs. No other god does this. None! I've also written an article called Such is the Kingdom and it will give you more information about living in God's kingdom. That and a few other articles are in our Word Study Center, be sure to stop by there. What I mainly want to tell you about in this post is that the blessings of God are for the taking, and you take it by faith believing it is real in the deepest part of your heart and believe that it is for you. And to obtain those blessings, you must have faith in God. A faith that says this is real and very true. That kind of faith can only come by hearing (or reading) what the word of God says about the need you have. And using your faith is what pleases God the most. Once you believe in Jesus and ask Him and the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and into your life, you have a legal right to everything this kingdom offers. The second thing I want to tell you is that in obtaining the things of God you must understand that for the most part, your part is simply trusting God to make it happen. If He needs you to do anything, He'll let you know. When He does, make sure you are obedient, don't neglect His direction in your life because it ultimately affects others. There is so much to learn about the things of God and His kingdom, even about His great plan for your life; yes He has a wonderful plan for you, see Jeremiah 29:11. We are here to help you get started and to help keep you growing in your faith and knowledge of this dear Savior. Start today by getting an understanding of what salvation is, ask Jesus into your heart, then visit us everyday to keep learning more. God's truths will make you free. Believing in and trusting God will add a divine zest, a heavenly breath of life to this life you live. By the way, believing is the verb tense of the word faith. In other words, faith is simply believing in what God says and act on it when He needs you to. In some cases it will require you to give up what you know or what you were taught to believe. But making that exchange of beliefs is well worth the effort of letting go of old stuff, it will make you free, and it will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. If you need a bible, please contact us, we'll get one out to you for free. Stay tuned because I'm sure the Lord will have me post more things about HIs Kingdom and how you can become a citizen of it and partake of all His blessings. As always, if you have any questions, please let us know. And be sure to drop us a comment below. In His Service, La Donna The word of God can seem like a never ending maze of disappointments. But I'm here to tell you that God has a plan for you that will pluck you right up from the miry clay (things in life that pull you down like quicksand and keep you there or worse, drown out your faith) and set your feet on a solid rock of wisdom, and understanding, salvation for every area of your life and so much more. â
The Lordship of Jesus is abundance in every area of your life including your health and finances.
A few weeks ago, we studied about the Lordship of Jesus. Today, I want to give you a few other areas where making Jesus Lord of your life is very important and most beneficial to you as a believer. All the promises in the bible can be summed up into four basic categories.
Salvation: Acts 4: 12 tells us that salvation is only in the name of Jesus. You may need to read before and after scriptures on this. Look also at Acts 2:21, Acts 4: 12 and Mark 16: 16. To understand salvation, read my article here. Healing: 1 Peter 2: 24 is a very popular scripture to use when you need your healing. Consider also Psalms 103: 1 - 3 and Isaiah 55:11. Family Well Being: The first 14 verses in Deuteronomy 28 spell out family blessings. Who couldn't stand anymore blessings in our families, right. You know, the family is God's institution. And satan, your enemy, can't stand anything that represents God. That's why he fights to destroy our families so hard and so much. Stand up to him for your family. You may be the only Jesus your family see's. Stand up, we're here to help you. Prosperity: this covers every area of your life including financial prosperity. For a revelation on financial prosperity, study Proverbs 10: 22 and for general prosperity study 3 John 1: 2. Now, you need to know that you can't accomplish any of this without faith. So, I don't want to just drop you off right here, telling you these things are available to you without telling you how to get them. Faith: the word says in Hebrews 12:2 that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. The word of God can seem like a never ending maze of disappointments. But I'm here to tell you that God has a plan for you that will pluck you right up from the miry clay (things in life that pull you down like quicksand and keep you there or worse, drown out your faith) and set your feet on a solid rock of wisdom, and understanding, salvation for every area of your life and so much more. Trust Jesus to set you on His path of prosperity for your life. You won't have to fight your way through a daunting maze only to give up because you can't seem to get anywhere. It will save you tons of heartache and it will build your faith as you go along. To help you get started on faith, here's a few more scriptures to look at: Romans 10:17. Be sure to drop by Hebrews chapter 11 because we call this the believers hall of fame. There is a solid rock for your feet to be on for every need in your life. Only faith in Jesus and allowing Him to put you on His divine path for you will get you there. Before I close, I want to remind you that going over these scriptures daily will help build your faith to the point that you will be unstoppable. And if you ever have any questions or you get stumped on anything about the word of God, please contact me. I will get back to you asap. â In His Service, âLa Donna But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2nd Peter 3: 18. This morning as I was doing some bible study, I was thinking about the folks that just don't know how to get started with God or His word. I can see them standing at a threshold of a sort and stopping right there because they just don't know what to do, what to say, where to go for help and in the end, if they don't get this kind of help, the enemy will keep that person defeated not only in salvation but in every other area of life, too. Is this you? Are you standing at such a door and want to get in on the things of God but don't know what to do or what to think about it? Do you feel left out or not good enough? Have you ever thought that you want to read the bible but don't know where to begin? If you answered yes, then my friend, please keep reading. There is a necessary beginning. You must realize that you need Jesus in your heart first and foremost. Without Jesus in your heart, He can not send you the Holy Ghost which will then guide you into all truth. I've written an article to help you understand salvation. You can read it here. If you have never told God that you believe in Jesus and that you want Him in your heart, please stop and go read that article. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, into your life then come back here. That article includes a little prayer to help you ask Jesus into your heart and life. From this point on, I'm going to assume you have asked Jesus into your heart but you're not getting anywhere. You still don't know what to do. For a structured approach, let's talk. Get a bible. I prefer King James but I also like using the Amplified. You might want to consider the American Standard Version. You want to be prepared so get a pen / pencil and a notepad. I personally use a planner I purchased from Mardels Christian book store and I use stickers from like the Happy Planner. Most any Wal-Mart will carry these now. If you prefer, use your pc. Every morning, I get by myself to study the word of God. I may start off on one thing and if God needs me to focus on something else, He'll show me. He'll do the same for you. I spend a little time praying. Again, I'll start off praying over something but if God needs me to pray over another situation or person, He'll show me. Yes, He'll do the same for you. Let me throw this in here. Dismiss all thoughts that overwhelm you about sorting out all the things of the bible. Dismiss thoughts that you'll never be able to get through all of it. When you feel overwhelmed about anything with God or His word, dismiss it. Got it? Why? Because in this life time, we will never exhaust the knowledge of God. Get it set in your mind that you will make it your life's work to study the word of God and don't worry about how little you know. Besides, God wants us in His word, and His presence every day. Getting in His word is how you spend time with God. It's how you get to know Him, understand Him, and love Him. It's how you got to know your friends or if you are married, spending time with him or her is how you got to know them well enough to say yes. You get to know God and understand Him by simply reading His word. The reason I had you study the article about salvation is for this reason right here. Romans 8:5 - 6 says: 5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. What this is saying to you and me is that we cannot understand the things of God without being Spiritually minded. Whatever state of being your heart is in, that's the things to which you'll attend, that's what you'll understand and believe in the most. Now, to continue, I post new studies each Monday. You can join me right here. Spend the week going over the scriptures in each post. Don't forget to ask God to join you and to open your heart to new truths each time you sit down to study His word. Once you have asked Jesus into your heart, ask for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart to bring illumination of God's word. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you need to study. Then listen to your heart, not your head because you head will tell you a million other things you need to attend to. I'll close out with this note. Most main line denominations would have you stop at salvation. Let's read 2 Peter 3: 18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen" If we were supposed to stop at salvation, why would God give us an invitation, actually this is a commandment, to grow in grace and knowledge? If we are supposed to stop at salvation, the scriptures would have to read quite differently. It would have to say to grow in your knowledge of salvation and stop. Or it might would have said grow in your knowledge up to the point of salvation. There is so much to learn about God, His Kingdom, and He invites you to learn as much as you can and want to. I'll let you look this one up, Romans 15: 13. I'm here to answer any question you might have regarding your studies. Don't be afraid to ask. Just contact me, and after I've prayed I'll get back with you asap. Feel free to read other posts that I have. Visit the Word Study Center and by all means, check out my husbands blogs, especially if you are a man reading this. God has given him some awesome revelations about how to relate life to fishing and being outdoors, relating football positions to life, and so much more. Just remember, you don't have to wing this alone. Once you ask God to come into your heart, you will never be alone another day of your life. You'll never be without help for any situation you face because God will minister to you. And we are here for you, too. La Donna P.S. If you have just read this post and would be interested in a free mini course on salvation/faith walk with God to get you going, drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you. In His Service, La Donna Negative Gravity is anything that keeps you from walking on water, from doing the impossible, from moving mountains. Recently in doing a bible study, just trying to hear from the Lord, I heard Him say these words to me, Defy Negative Gravity. That was some very interesting words to me. Those words, when I think about them and apply them spiritually in the recent faith fight I had, set me free. It has the power to send me over the hump that's been holding me back. That hump was keeping me from sensing my own spiritual strength that took years to build in my spirit. I wanted to share more of this with you. Defying Negative Gravity involves identifying things that pull us down, that lead to depression, anxiety, keeping us in grief, anything that keeps us from having and enjoying the things of our God and from living a life of faith. Negative Gravity is anything that keeps you from walking on water, from doing the impossible, from moving mountains. If you are a born again child of God, you have everything in you necessary to pull down negative gravity, strongholds. Now that we know what negative gravity is, here's two key points on how to defy them. 1) Grow in Grace & Knowledge 2 Peter 3: 18- But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. This is simply you studying the word and learning more about God everyday. You can join me right here each week for new teaching and inspiration. Go through the older blog posts. Click the Encouragement tab for articles to help strengthen your faith in God. Faith comes by hearing so if you never give your spirit food by reading or hearing - taking in the truths of God, your faith won't grow at all. Stay with us. Everything we share with you here, we live it. We can tell you by our own personal experience that the more you work the Word of God in your life the more the Word will work for you to bring you to a good place the word says in Exodus 3:8. No matter what you face today, no matter the bondage's holding you back, God can bring you out of your Egypt and put you into a good and large place with blessings overflowing. Consider Psalms 31:8 and Psalms 40:2. 2) Strengthen Your Mind 1 Peter 1: 13- Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Keep your mind strong by believing only the things you read in the word of God. Anything else, toss it out of your mind immediately. This is not dismissing you from attending a good church. A good church is one that not only teaches you about the victories in Jesus but how to obtain and accomplish them. In closing, Romans 15:13 says: Now the God of hope FILL YOU with ALL JOY & PEACE in believing, that YE may ABOUND in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (emphasis mine) Have a great week. La Donna A good church is one that not only teaches you about the victories in Jesus but how to obtain and accomplish them. Live the life that God ordained for you. Choose to live in the blessings of God today! We’ve all read stories where Dad creates this mega business that he hopes to one day pass on to his son or his children. Basically that’s what God has done. He created the universe, put plants and animals on it and then created mankind and gave it all to us to take care of it.
And somewhere in the history of this thing, back before the creation story, one of God’s angels, Lucifer, now known as satan, was found to be full of pride and the word says that God vehemently threw him out of heaven to earth. He set up his evil worldly system designed to kill, steal, and destroy. Once God placed man here, in the Garden of Eden, God gave specific instructions on how to live. He told Adam and Eve to not eat the fruit of a particular tree (scripture does not say it was an apple) because it would expose man and all of creation to satan’s kingdom. And not just expose us to it, we would become subservient to it, owned by it, and trapped in it with no way out. As many of you know, Adam and Eve disobeyed God when they chose to believe satan’s side of the story. Using deception, he convinced Adam and Eve that it was actually okay to eat the fruit of that tree. That’s why we should never practice deception for any reason, especially to get our own way. Adam and Even could live here on this Earth and never see, touch, or taste of the kingdom of darkness - not even be bothered by it- if they had of just obeyed God. But they didn’t. At this very act of disobedience, many scholars believe that our precious planet tilted on its axis, We became subjected to earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, natural disasters, etc. For the very first time, the heart of man would taste of death both spiritually and naturally. Also in this act of disobedience, man became a lost soul. No longer did we have fellowship with God but we also lost our relationship with God as his children. So, how does Adam’s and Eve’s behavior affect us today? Consider Romans chapter 5 with emphasis on verses 12 and 19. Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Lets look at another verse. Romans 3: 23 says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” That means we don’t look much like God in our spirit man, we don’t act or think like him either. So, you see, through their sin of disobedience, it caused all of us to be born with sinful nature, a nature that rebels against God, no longer children of God, no longer citizens of his glorious kingdom - partakers of all that His kingdom offers the born again. We may not can see satan or his kingdom but we witness its destruction everyday: a loved one dying, school shootings, our children being doped up on drugs, divorce, starvation, poverty, sickness and disease. All these are brought about by the hand of satan himself. Does man have to live like this now and forever? Are we doomed to this kind of life with no way out? The answer is no, man does not have to live like this or be in bondage to the kingdom of darkness. Because of God’s great love for us, he had a plan ready and waiting. That plan was to give us a choice. God’s kingdom has been viewed, by many, as sort of some kind of dictatorship - it’s my way or the highway. But that is simply not the truth. I hope at this point, I really have your attention. Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. You see, grace is your answer to all your problems. Meet every problem with grace and watch things change for the better for you and your loved ones. How does this affect our loved ones? Well, your family loves you and it does their heart good to see you doing well. Mom's, we are the strength of our families. We can only be strong in the Lord, co-rule and co-reign with our husbands and God by understanding what grace is, how it affects us, and how we are to apply it to our lives. Before I close, give me your ear for a few more minutes. Grace is not a license to sin. Rather it is your strength and right to say no to sin, to choose not to be a part of it, to not touch the things of darkness. Let that sink it, think about that this week. Grace is your right to choose the blessings of God and subsequently to refuse the curses of satan. Choose wisely, choose carefully. Join me next week for more insight into God's grace. To understand the Lordship of Jesus, let's take a look at what the dictionary says about the word Lord.
According to Webster's New World college dictionary 4th edition, the word Lord basically means one having great power and authority; a ruler, a master. So, let's talk about making Jesus that Lord with all of his power and authority. Many of us hear talk about trusting in Jesus and we don't dig in to really understand what this means for us. For many, words like that seem real but only for others, and not themselves. This is primarily because they think they have already done so many bad things that God would never want to spend time with them or do anything for them. That is a lie the enemy has sold folks generations over, and the people have bought into it, hook, line, and sinker. And still do to this day. Listen, if you are one of those that thinks that way, let me tell you that just the opposite of that is true. Gods tender mercies are renewed everyday the word says. So there's no excuse, just open your heart to God, invite Jesus in and simply say, show me Lord, teach me. There are tons of things we can trust to Jesus and I want to talk about a few of those things in this blog today. Trusting anything to Jesus is in fact making him the Lord of your life in that area. When you begin to see the Lordship of Jesus, how victorious he can make you in one area, you'll begin to open up in other areas. So, if you've never made Jesus the Lord of your life, start with these areas. As an added note, look up the extra scriptures and read them out loud (faith comes by hearing). When you stay focused on these scriptures, you increase the strength of your foundation (why you are believing in this stuff in the first place), and you increase your strength to continue to believe in the Lord and his word.

In His Service, La Donna What happened to our natives can very well happen to us here in the United States and really all of America if we continue to let weeds grow in our garden. There are many who do not take care of this land, and still many others who just want to take down our government and deny us of the peace we have known, the way of life we have been so blessed to have. It is necessary for us to look at our countries as a garden. And if you have ever done any kind of gardening, you know that you must keep out the weeds, right. Weeds will overtake your garden and kill out the good fruit.
The United States became a great nation because it honored God, not because of where it sits geographically on the globe. The best part about this is that this greatness can happen to any other country - proverbial garden - when that country, it's people and leaders, honor this same God that made the U.S. great. This is the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob; the Great I Am. So, let me say here that people are not weeds. But, the negative influences that some have is like weeds, it will choke out the very life you live. We should be careful about the influences we allow in our gardens. This garden can also be your heart, your home, your life, or your place of work. America is great. And yes, this includes our neighbors to the north and to the south of us. They are just as American as those of us born right here in the United States. Our U.S. history is riddled with ups and downs. When things get going good, its almost like we are saying, Ok, God, we got this, we dont need you anymore. We see this in our political arena, our education system, and in our workforce. You might ask how do you see this in our workforce. Too many companies have outsourced to other countries. They sent our labor to other countries instead of keeping the work right here in our own land to help our local economies. But when things start going down, whose name are we quick to call upon? God! Let's not forget the one who helped this country become so great. When we make decisions about how we are going to live, lets not forget those whose blood was shed to get this country so great. To allow another government from any other country to practice their ways in our land, does not honor those who fought and died for this country. So our native American Indians have their own laws here, is this okay? Yes, because they were here first. And many natives joined our armed forces and fought for this country. But the key thing is that this land first belonged to them. If anybody, they should have a right to practice their laws in this land. Now, I want you to put yourself in our natives' shoes. Think about this, you have your land, you know your boundaries, you hunt on this land, drink from its waters, you live by what food you grow. You have a certain degree of peace; peace within your own tent and community. Then a white storm moves in and takes over your land. That peace you have lived with for so long is now threatened. You are taken prisoner and you are forced to take on another way of life, another religion, your are forced off of your own land. And remember, you fought for this land. You alone are not powerful enough to stop this. Their weapons are far more advanced. Yes, in many ways, the white man improved the quality of life here. Many of us still honor this land, we want to take care of it so that it can continue to take care of us. This, by the way, is conservation. What happened to our natives can very well happen to us here in America if we continue to let weeds grow in our garden. There are many who do not take care of this land, and still many others who just want to take down our government and deny us of the peace we have known, the way of life we have been so blessed to have. A similar version of this happened to the Israelite's. They were taken captive for 50 years. 50! They were subservient to Egyptians. Do you honestly think the Egyptians at that time cared about their prisoners. Do you honestly think that those who would overtake this country, our faith, our ways, care about us? The answer is a resounding NO! If we, as a country, are not more careful in the choices we make, we may well find ourselves like our native brothers and sisters, or like the Israelite's. So how do we guard our garden? How do we take care of our country? You know, God's word will always have your answer! Look at 2 Chronicles 7: 14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. From this verse, write out what you see is our part and what you see as God's part. This is the one simple formula for keeping America great. 1. Let's humble ourselves before the mighty hand of God 2. Pray! Pray with a heart full of Godly love for our leaders and our neighbors. 3. Seek God's face - let's approach Him until we know in our spirit that we have God's full attention. 4. We know what things are wicked and sinful; that's why when we do something wrong we feel it, we feel the effects of it. This is a four point strategy to get America flowing in the blessings of God and to keep us there. Anytime you vote, or make choices, think about how your decisions can affect your garden and those around you. Will I see you on the front lines of prayer for this great nation? Would you care to join me in pure worship and prayer to our God? Would you dare declare the word of our God over our country, our leaders, our personal gardens? Drop me a line below on your thoughts or comments. La Donna All day I had this insatiable desire to just hold my daughter. There was much grief in this I'm so glad I belong to a wonderful, mighty God. So, I just gotta tell you something. Yesterday, I woke up with a stirring in my spirit that bothered me all day. It was not good either. And I felt like it had to do with my daughter, Haley. I kept thinking she is fine, she's probably at work. All day I had this insatiable desire to just hold my daughter. There was much grief in this stirring. Well, after church my husband said he got a text to go meet somebody in a nearby town. Off we go. We arrived and when I got out of our truck, I saw our daughter Haley walking towards us. This was to be a surprise visit. She told me she flew up here and had been camping with one of her best friends from school. She made this arrangement with her dad and didn't tell me; little stinker. The more I was around my daughter that feeling to just hold on to her like it was going to be the last time I saw my daughter grew in intensity. Haley knew I was disturbed; I started to cry and I told her something was wrong I just couldn't put my finger on it. I just knew that it was going to be bad. I couldn't stand it any longer. My daughter flew up here which meant she would be flying back to Houston, Texas. I told Haley, if I can't break this, that she was not getting on that flight, that if I had to, I would drive her back home to Texas. I was praying from Luke 12:2 which basically says "that which is hidden would be made known." In talking about that flight! It hit me that satan intended to take down her flight home. I went into prayer. My prayer language was very different than other times, very deep and intense. I had to call on some faithful prayer partners to help break this. I sent out that call to prayer at 9:24 pm and by 10 pm, it broke. Haley had an early flight back home the next morning. We got her baggage checked in and then said our goodbyes just before she entered that area where they scan you head to toe prior to boarding. At the airport, I spiritually, hi-jacked that plane by faith in the name of Jesus. I prayed over every rivet, nut and bolt. I prayed over the pilot and the entire staff, the technicians, the mechanics. I prayed over every panel of metal, even the wires and electronics. I blessed that flight and said, "Lord I want a smooth flight all the way home, in Jesus' name, Amen" At the airport, I spiritually, hi-jacked that plane by faith in the name of Jesus.
