Dear younger generation as we dive into the new year; let’s first, take a few seconds and realize how faithful and good our God is. Secondly, the blessing of love that we received last year was unbeatable, like come on; you can’t get any better than that. Not only do I want you to recognize that love last year, but I want you to carry it into this year, too.
I want you to dive deep into that love. Love like you never seen it or use it. Like, let’s take love to the next level now. I want you to also work on other dreams, plans, and visions that the Lord wants you to work on this year as well. This year let’s work more on the word “love”. Stop and think when is the last time you said hi to a family member; gave them a hug; or helped them out. I highly encourage you to start now. Like today, because you never know the last time you will be able to help them. Remember, time is so special, so please don’t take it for granted. Spend time with your love ones and hold on to every minute you get to have with them. |

Hello younger generation, I am here to tell you that God doesn’t operate in magic, but he really does love to give us wonderful gifts. Here is how it all started. Over the past few days, I have been watching Christmas movies and then all of the sudden the Lord told me, "I don’t operate in magic."
This came about when one of the movies I was watching when an object just suddenly appeared in a girl’s backpack. She happened to say how did that get in there? Then there was an elf and said it was magic. Then, I also began to think about some of those movies when Santa touches his nose and these twinkling little glitter objects start flying around and something just appears under the tree like gifts. The truth is God uses people to bless us, not magic. Here is another truth since we’re coming into Christmas time. God gave us the most wonderful gift we could ever receive and his name is Jesus. Please take the time and get to know more about him. You will be glad that you did. The Lord has many blessing for us. Trust me I know he does. I have received many blessing from him through many different people. Have a wonderful Christmas this year and Happy New Year. |

Dear readers, as we approach Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S, let’s take a moment to realize that we have so much and I do mean so much to be grateful for. I mean come on, you woke up today. That right there is something to be grateful for. Waking up and seeing another day. So, don’t ever say that you have nothing to be grateful for, because you actually do. Take a look around you.
Actually, I challenge you to name three items or people that you are grateful for. Need a little bit more help? I can name Jesus. Yes, Jesus. I am so grateful to have Jesus as a part of my life and for my future. He means everything to me. I am so grateful for everything he has already done for me in my life. He has healed me from my past. He’s even there for me in the middle of the storm while it is happening. Guess what? He will still be my help in my future. Jesus doesn’t stop or take breaks. He is always moving and working for us. He can and will help you, too. I continue to encourage you to call upon his name today. Now that you have had some time to think about what you are grateful for, I hope and pray that you realized, wow, I actually do have so much to be grateful for. Remember, the small things count and even the big things, too. You shouldn’t ever take the small things for granted. Everything can be a gift, or a blessing from heaven above. Every good little thing comes from heaven above. I hope and pray that you have a wonderful, peaceful, and grateful holiday. |

Growing up in a house that has been filled up by Jesus’ love is truly a blessing. It has honestly been one of the best blessings that I have received by a loving Heavenly Father that I do serve and live for each and every day of my life. So, as we approach these next few holidays. I highly encourage you to love every one during these times. I know that it can be hard, but I do believe in you. We, as Christians, are supposed to be like Jesus every day of our lives. We are supposed to walk in his footsteps. Jesus loves his children, and He does not like when we walk around hating others. There is way and I mean way to much hate in this world today. We Christians need to rise up and start praying against all of the hate. Let’s start showing, saying, and expressing loving words with loving faces towards each other. We all go through this. We all mess up, and Jesus does know that because he sees us each and every day. So as for today, let’s start making that change from hating to now loving others.

As a young person getting started in the Christian walk, you might find it hard to get into the word or what we call “The Bible.” Honestly and truly here’s a spoil alert “you’re not alone.” Even I, myself struggled with it at first, uhm yes, you read that correctly. I didn’t know where or how to really start either. So yes, I was a little bit lost at first, but once I opened it up and started, I felt better about it. So, I kept going and finally I realized, wow this isn’t so hard after all. I am also going to add you’re not going to be the first person to struggle with it. I promise you, you aren’t going to be the last one either and that’s for sure. I am also going to point out that Jesus wants you to get into the word. That book is called “The Bible” and it has everything and I do mean everything you truly need. The bible is full of lessons and teachings with good bible stories that can help you understand and to grow from as you learn and there is so much more. I highly encourage you to start today. Don’t knock it down until you try it. Now, if you need a little bit more help with the bible, maybe you can talk to a family member that knows about “The Bible.” You could even talk to a pastor, preferably your pastor if you have one. What it really comes down to is that you, and I do mean you, have to take that first step to get started. There really is no right or wrong way to get started, just don’t take the word out of its true meaning.

In my last message, I talked about good addictions and bad ones. Well guess what? I am going to talk about it some more, but this time, let’s take it one step deeper. Let’s add money to the picture. Yes, for the most part money is a good thing, but sometimes how we use that money can be a bad thing, too. Now, I am not the one to really tell you how or when to use your money. Honestly, that person is Jesus. Jesus is the one that tells you how or when to use that money. Your probably asking yourself, why are you bringing up money and how does it relate to the last message that I wrote. Well, I am so glad that you asked.
Remember, when I talked about games, movies, drugs, and other areas? Well, what do these things have in common? Now, if you answered money, then yaaay, because you’re correct. How? It takes money to buy those things I’ve mentioned. Let me say this first. It’s bad enough we don’t realize how blind we are supporting the bad things, but adding money to it makes it even worse. Let me give you an example. When you pick up or actually buy a movie that isn’t good [something that doesn’t honor God] and combine it with your money, it makes it double trouble. Why? Because, it’s already bad enough in taking up bad habits, but when you spend money on it, then you no longer have that money anymore when it should have went on something else that’s is better. Here is a real question you have to answer yourself “Should I be buying some of those things now?” I can’t fully answer that question for you, but guess who can though? I hope you answered Jesus. Yes, Jesus can answer that question for you and he wants to answer that question for you. So as for today, I highly encourage you to seek his kingdom and ask him. Jesus, should I be buying this game or movie? Ask Jesus the same question about buying illegal or bad drugs that can steer you away from God? Ask him and you shall receive his willing answer for your life. Paul says it best from 1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” I also want you to remember this too, the decisions and choices you make today, will affect your life later on in the future, even, if it doesn’t appear at the moment. Do you need a little verse to help you out as well? I think 1 Corinthians 10:31 can help you out a little “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” This is how we get rid of adding problems with our addictions and becoming more of an attraction for Jesus. |

Some people don’t see their own wrongful addictions that distract them from the good things. Yes today, many people in this world can sometimes be addictive to something and don’t know about it. Let’s stop for a minute here and examine ourselves. After we examine ourselves and find an addiction in our life, is that addiction truly something we really need. Here are some examples of bad addictions: drugs, smoking or vaping, drinking any type of alcohol, watching bad things on television with a lot of foul language and much more, or eating those things that don’t benefit our health. Wow! Those are just some examples, but truly and honestly we could go deeper than those examples. There can be other things that we can get addicted to such as games, hanging out with the wrong crowd, and etc. In this message, I want us to stop and think about something here and it’s the word “add or addition” and how close it’s to the word “addiction”.
Remember the things that were bad addictions like smoking or taking drugs? Now, the right thing to do is to get into the word of God and see how smoking and drugs can be distracting or wrong. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's” Let’s be honest here, they don’t benefit our health at all. Now, let’s get back to the television part again, instead of watching things like murder, robbing, or anything with death that’s on television which is corrupt, we should watch other things. We can see this in 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” Let’s start watching something good and positive, uplifting, or something that is going to benefit our hearts and spirits by adding good things from here on out. Where can we find some scriptures that can prove we need something to benefit our heart? Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” This world that we live in today has enough damage, craziness, and distractions; please don’t add anything more to it. This is our time to turn away from those bad things and get before the Lord to seek his face, and pray to him and ask him for his attention to figure out what we need to do in our lives. This is called getting into his perfect will, plans, and ways for our lives. Jesus does have one for you. I promise you, his ways are so much higher, stronger, better, and it can truly benefit our lives, our health, our hearts, and our spirit. He is calling out to you and me. Stop and think about this scripture Isaiah 55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. I pray that you receive this message with a good heart and spirit. This message isn’t about being me judging you, but to help you with the word of God to lead you to a better life. I give Jesus the credit for touching your lives with this message, because it was inspired by him. |

Younger generation as you continue to search and find your calling, remember Jesus died on the cross for you. Jesus rose up from the grave and when he did that he had already paid the price for your sins. Jesus not only paid the price for your sins, but he also was giving life to you that way you can live and work with him on this earth, so as you continue to find your calling, if you have any sin at all in your life, turn it over to him, lay it down at his feet, and ask for forgiveness. I promise you, he will, because he knows your heart and sees you. Jesus just knows who you are, because number one, he Created you. More importantly he loves you. He wants you. He invites you into his Kingdom forever.

Lord, I pray that the younger generation will come to life once again and will be forever called by your name to serve you and will become that servant for your Kingdom, Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Please, younger generation understand that there are so many ways that you can become that servant. This can come from your hobbies by making something and giving it as gifts. Take time and become a volunteer. Get with your youth pastor or teacher to help guide you and work with you while you're training. I now pray that you will find that calling to serve the only Living God. I continue to pray that you will find the courage to come out of your shell or out of your comfort zone to find your calling. In Jesus name. Amen. If, you don't know how to begin the search for your calling. Well, who could be the one whom you should be turning to and asking ? If you answered the Lord, then yes, you are correct. Now, take time and turn to the Lord and seek him. Ask the Lord and he will help you along the path of your calling. I do hope this motivates you. Your were created by God for such a purpose. Remember the training ground may not always be easy, but it's very helpful to be under some guidance. You can obtain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from those who have walked in the ministry field for a long time. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |

When a medical person puts a stethoscope to your heart, what are they doing? They are listening for a heart beat. Well, you can imply that same concept with the word of God known as the bible. This is called opening your heart to the word of God and begin listening for him. He is your heartbeat.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. |
