God's word tells us in Deut 12: 2-3 and in Psalms 122:6 that if we'll pray for and bless Israel, He'll bless us.

In this current war, Israel needs our prayers and help more than ever before.
Don't just pray for Israel because you need a blessing; how selfish that would be. Jews are God's chosen people. By this God meant that it would be this race from which our Savior, Jesus, would be born. I believe God also meant that he had chosen Israel and her people to show forth his Glory, to show the world that God is real and that God is love. God loves the Jewish people and so should we.
When praying for Israel, specifically the Jews, pray for peace for the Jewish people and their families, pray for their protection -ask God to bless her military, their education system, their families and their home life, their workforce, to bless their food and markets. Pray that God would open their eyes of understanding to see their long sought after Messiah - Jesus Christ of Nazareth (pray for their salvation). Pray for their travel, their medical facilities, and never -ever -forget to pray for their elderly, many of which are holacaust survivors. Do these things as though you are doing them for the Lord; that's when you will be blessed.

About The Jewish Calendar

The Jewish calendar has twelve months, and their leap year occurs approximately once every three years. During leap year, they have a 1st Adar and a 2nd Adar, making it the 13th month. Each month has either 29 days or 30 days.  The months of the Jewish calendar begin with the new moon and end the day before the next new moon thus overlapping the western calendar months.

Jewish Calendar Months

Nissan (Mar-Apr)                Iyar (Apr - May)               Silvan (May - Jun)              Tammuz (Jun - Jul)
Av (Jul - Aug)                      Elul (Aug - Sep)              Tishrei (Sep - Oct)              Heshvan (Oct - Nov)
Kislev (Nov - Dec               Tevet (Dec - Jan)             Shevat (Jan - Feb)
          Adar (Feb - Mar)

To Note

The Jewish people have been keeping track of time since their deliverance of Egyptian bondage as noted in Exodus 12:1-2, marking this as the year of 5784.

The Jewish calendar has at least two "heads" or "beginnings". Nissan in the Spring and Tishrei in the Fall.
